The land has been in the family for more than three generations, and back then, there was only a small house and an olive grove. Psamathi started its journey in 1998 when the Filippakis family, after years of experience in the hospitality industry, created the first four apartments in Marathi. With respect to the history and natural beauty, the family expanded their premises, renovating the spaces and created eight elegant villas.
Four of the villas have unobstructed, spectacular view to the sparkling blue sea, and are defined by a minimalistic style and feel. The other four overlook the flourishing gardens, and they have a vintage look and feel, with a vintage decoration that was influenced by the decades of 1930s to 1960s.
Psamathi is an welcoming place and values greatly the sense of family. Therefore, the team of professionals has grown to be practically an extended family of Psamathi, and they create an intimate, inviting and joyous atmosphere that guarantees that the guests will have one of their best summer vacations.
